Lander to West Yellowstone

Day 5 RMG

An early start from Lander fuelled by Egg Mcmuffins north through the Wind River Indian Reservation, complete with obligatory casinos and trailer parks, passing through the cowboy themed Dubois and into the Teton Forest.

Entering the Grand Teton NP at Moran Junction and stopping for photos at the Great Divide and Oxbow Bends where the tetons reflected beautifully in the still fall water.

Then into Yellowstone via the south entrance, Lewis falls and West Thumb Geyser Basin (and for al you Americans-its pronounced “geezer”.

Stopping at the Grand Prismatic in late afternoon for some great silhouettes, the bison-jam rush hour on the park roads and onto Lazy G’s motel in West Yellowstone
