So, further north from Fort Collins to Lander via Rawlins.
An 8 hour 350 mile trip across the American Plains, evocative of the migration west, Native Americans, cowboys and every western you have ever seen. Every way you look, plains running into the distance.
Lunch was a Reuben at Penny’s Diner in Rawlins, then onto Lander and a quick trip out to the old gold mines.
Wildlife today: Bald Eagle (unfortunately no photos), Pronghorn deer.
Tomorrow, onto Yellowstone.
Hopefully some better wifi!
