Jackson Hole

RMG Day9 and 10.

Two days in the ski resort of jackson hole, travelling around the Grand Teton NP.

Jackson Hole is an upmarket winter resort and gateway town with an apres ski feel to it. It is however, very cowboy.

Up early first day to visit Moulton Barn, the most photographed barn in the world!, famous for the pink glow on the Tetons behind it in the early morning light. The sky was cloudless, which was a bit of a shame as clouds reflect the warm light very well.

Afternoon dedicated to tracking down some wildlife- 2 moose, pronghorns, a bald eagle, red tailed hawk, 500+ bison and beavers at Schwabacher landing.

Another early morning start to catch the sunrise at Schwarbachers. It was cold and crisp as the sun rose behind us lighting up the mountain tops with a pink glow, the mountains reflecting in the still beaver ponds.

On the way back into Jackson we ran into 3 moose, one with 1/2 his rack missing.

Afternoon was spent travelling through Wyoming, huge wide spaces in all directions. Cowboy country. Overnight in Green River, the rail centre of the US. Very Springstein.
