The end of a 2 week journey through Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks, 4 states, Utah, Montana, Idaho and Wyoming covering over 2000 miles.
We woke early to snow, heavy snow. They’re used to it over here but we have to cross the mountain pass to get out of the valley today and onto the airport.
Fortunately after a late breakfast at Cafe Genevieve the snow had stopped and a quick check showed all roads still open to all traffic. Good job too, as its a long way round the other route!
Our trip took us over the mountains and out of Grand Teton National Park, through Afton, with the worlds largest antler arch (!) onto Lava Hot Springs, a thermal resort. Closed.
