Grand Teton National Park

Day Two in the Grand Teton National Park

After a write off yesterday due to poor weather, and a night in The Million Dollar Cowboy Bar, we headed out early today into the National Elk Reserve. No elk yet – they migrate in for winter when the snows come – ┬ábut watched a coyote hunt for mice in the meadows before heading off-road into the Teton Wilderness and up into the snow line. Yesterday we had heavy rain in the valley which settled as snow above 7000 ft.

Later we spent some time on Antelope Flats and visted the much photographed Mormon Row and Moulton Barn before heading off onto the Moose Wilson Rd to look for bears. No luck this time, but  some lovely fall colours.
