East Yellowstone

After a few days of R and R in Cody its back into Yellowstone today as we travel through to the Grand Tetons.

Not much to report today….only two grizzly bears! A Mom and her year old cub.

These are the bears Raspberry and her cub Snow that inhabit the area surrounding the East entrance road.

We had a great view of the two bears for 20 minutes or so as they crossed the road, causing road chaos, before disappearing into the forest.

Photos taken with Tamron 70-200 F/2.8 VC Usd

What fantastic photos of the Grizzlies – you must have been so close. What a stroke of luck! Tim couldn’t believe his eyes. His comment this morning when we were looking at the photos “Mark can’t have taken those!”
